Founder & Principal

With over a decade of experience in building and project management, Tyler founded Airlie Homes to bring thoughtful design, high-quality craftsmanship, and a personal touch to the home-building journey. A Wilmington local, Tyler is passionate about creating homes that capture the beauty and lifestyle of coastal living. His belief is simple: every homeowner deserves a building experience that’s smooth, exciting, and rooted in trust. When he’s not leading new projects, you’ll find Tyler enjoying everything coastal Carolina has to offer—from the water to the community he proudly calls home.

Mike combines years of construction management experience with a true passion for helping families build their dream homes. As a hands-on owner, Mike is personally involved from the first walkthrough to the final detail, making sure every home reflects Airlie’s high standards of quality and care. Known for his communication, problem-solving skills, and eye for detail, Mike ensures that every step of the building process feels smooth, personal, and exciting for Airlie clients.

Background: Mike Santilli brings strong experience in residential construction management, specializing in project oversight, client communication, and day-to-day operations on custom home builds. He has a background working in high-end residential projects, meaning he is very familiar with the expectations and detail required for luxury coastal home construction.

My first home in Leland was built with Airlie Homes in 2015. After returning from an unexpected job transfer I built a second home with them in 2018 next door to the first one. I moved in just after hurricane Florence and there wasn’t a single issue arising from the storm. Both homes continue to stand out from the crowd of Trusst and other production homes in Waterford.
